Finished the grill last week after a repaint since the first clear yellowed the white. Im debating of adding a clear but wasn't sure which brand to use that wouldn't cause this? Super white is a bitch to match and i want to prevent another strip down.

thoughts on any rattle can clears would be great.

    Thanks guys.

OP, how long did you let the paint cure before clear coating. I have no experience in this, however, it seems I've read on this site that you'll have better results if you let the paint cure out completely. Some paints take as long as a month. Rattle cans don't have the same hardeners as body shop paints do. Remember also, enamel over lacquer is OK, but not lacquer over enamel.

I used rust-olium pait for plastic clear and had no problems with it.

Unfortunately most rattle-can clears cause yellowing. I've never seen one that doesn't... Might want to consider getting a body shop to clear it for ya. Should be cheap, MUCH better clear, and it won't yellow. Even get them to throw some flex-addative in there, so it's extra durable!
