I just got a 2012 DCSB TRD SPORT 4x4 with the towing package ($650), was wandering if anyone else did not get the receiver part of the hitch and a adaptor for the wiring. Last time I bought a new Toyota was 2004 and the receiver came with the towing package. The dealer told me that it was not part of the towing package, which I told them was crazy because i can't tow anything with the new truck without first going to walmart and getting a receiver and adaptor, any help?

Given there are many different ball sizes and drops, giving you a receiver wouldn't make much sense. And the adapter is not necessary for a 7-pin trailer.
