driver side. They liked the placement of where I had mine, but 3gens don't have a grab handle.

It's a basic ball mount. It has a center hole for the bolt to go through, but would be unnecessary in your design since you would build it into your plate. I would just do an arm sticking out, then a 90 deg arm with a support plate.

    Here's mine.

Ok so I've been revising more and more things on the panels and ended up trying to see what else I could do/fit onto the panel and ended up with a special version I made for myself. I ended up moving the cab light switch to the top row and rotating 90 degrees so it's vertical and because of that I was able to fit in another physical switch and from there on I just went a little extra with a custom designed front cause I'm like that.

There's no post processing or anything special done to the surface, that's just how it comes out.

New e-bike came with 3 Allen wrenches, the tail light came with another. Made the holder to keep them together with the tool kit.

This has evolved significantly in this week. Customized for a Zimablade and Adaptec 71605 SAS card

Well since I'm working the plumbing under the kitchen sink anyway, I might as well make up some concealed holsters while I'm down here. :cookiemonster:

Printed some minimalist mud flaps for my cheap ebike.

Then I made some changes. 53 overall, did not print them of course, just lots of redesigning.

    Ended up with this.

And one for the rear that extends.

Rode in a rainstorm yesterday. I was soaked, but no stripe up the backside.:D

Not from today, but about two weeks ago. Needed replacement rear shock shaft guards that I couldn't buy, so CADed and printed some of my own with TPU and inserted washers.

    That looks good!

Is that right off the printer?

Having only received very few 3D printed parts hasn't convinced me enough that I need one until I see something like that posted.

Thanks! Yup, right off the printer with no post processing. I dialed in the settings just a bit when I was iterating on the design, but mostly they are stock.

I worked for a very high-end 3D printer company for over six years, and now I am using Bambu Labs printers at home. And let me tell you, for a desktop printer, they kick the snot out of the products we made!

My code scanner didn't come with a kickstand or steering wheel hanger, which was always annoying. So I made one. Design didn't work as I originally intended it to - the lower 'claws' weren't flexible enough to bend and snap onto the bottom of the scanner. Instead of tweaking and printing again, I just used some thick rubber bands to secure the scanner, which works well. Sometimes it's good enough to just adapt with something easy rather than redesign and print again.
