Elegoo PETG. I guess the "goo" is somewhat descriptive. :D
The Anycubic black doesn't do it near as bad.
    It trims/snaps off fairly easy.

Dropped the heat from 235 to 220 an hour ago.

Should have tried that 5 hours ago.:anonymous:

Looks like the last time I used wood pla, with zero retract (any retract would just jam up the nozzle due to the wood burning)

Resin printing anyone? Took some .STL files and converted them to .ctb and off we go.....except its not always a success.

I rarely use mine, stinks up the place a little every time. Fun for figs and high detail things, but ends up brittle if dropped usually.

i can see that. This model has an "odorizer" and the resin used is plant based which cuts down on the odor but there is still a hint of resin smell with the prints

I bought a new Anycubic 2 Plus. Almost pulled the trigger on the Ender 3. In the end I decided to stay with what I am currently familiar with. Plus it was cheaper. :D I was looking for a bigger build plate. Had a hell of a time getting the first layer correct until I figured out it was pulling the print from a previous memory file. It was 2am when that finally clicked.:anonymous: Started a new print file.
    Woke up to this.

    virtually no stringing!
and for a comparison, I printed up another from a previous file with no changes.

Left is the Neo, right is the Plus. Much better surface and the seams were much tighter.
That bigger plate cut my print times from 10 hours to 4h17m.

    What haven’t I changed?
Even though I haven’t used it for a couple years, I hated fiddling with a zip tie so I made a sliding trigger lock for my ARB tire inflator.

This turned out way better than that last mess. Same material and piece. Almost using the same settings as the Neo.

Simple little stand for my desk digital calipers. I wanted something that kept them vertical instead of horizontal. Found this for the 8"/200mm version, but it works fine for the 6"/150mm (which has smaller jaws) too.

It's been a minute now with work picking up a lot as we open a new hospital but I finally got around to making a final design ready for the truck panels as well as got the quality tuned to how I like it.

This is the final version panel quality below. First "production" print with no more tweaking (till I get ideas again lol).

Probably will create a post and list them up in the next 2 weeks or so with the different configurations.

Yeah, I got a blanks for unused spots too. Photo of them too along with the manual panel version that has a spot for the clutch button.

Not printed parts, but printing adjacent. Got these fabled 'trolley' carts from IKEA that pretty much perfectly hold filament. Love this storage solution. Oh and they're only $10 each.

You might be printing too hot and the parts cooling fans can't keep up. You can try reducing the print temp in 5-10 incriminates and see if it starts looking better.

I'm printing at 235. I could drop it to 230, but usually I don't see that much of a difference in printing with a 5c change. I could up my cooling speed if you think it's too hot. I recently installed a 5015 blower for my part cooling. I had it at 100% cooling before and the part wouldn't stick. I dropped it to 80%.
