i gave my dad some sockmonkey decals hell yeah he loved it we are going to go put them on in a little bit thanks sock....now its my turn to get some

 

Got the wife an iron, a board game, and Guitar Hero World Tour.

Best friend got beer and a set of beer glasses.

Lots of family got homemade candles or photo albums in preparation for the baby in Feb.

 

A friend: Bought her a ring that she liked from Mervyn's (store closing clearance).
Roommate: a ceramic Kyocera knife.
My Niece (my roommate's daughter): I took her to breakfast, on a shopping spree and a trip to Starbucks for her favorite drink. I bought her a bunch of clothes and some shoes, plus a present for 4 of her friends (her mother doesn't have much money and her friends all gave her something for Christmas so I didn't want her to feel left out).

 

Mom: Folding chairs and like a 20 pack of glad ware since she always needs them.
Dad: 2 Andrea Bocelli CD's and a prybar.
Bro1: Sears giftcard
Bro2: Steelers pub glasses
Bro3: Pitched in for Evgeni Malkin jersey
Sis in law: Wine basket thing
Bro3 and sis in laws dog: big ass bone.

 

I didn't have too much to spend this year. So I got creative. I asked my maternal grandmother for something that would be special for my mom. She gave me a cancelled check from 1968 showing where her parents (my grandparents) paid for her school in full to the Merrit Island Beauty School. She was a hairdresser for a long time. Put in a frame between glass. For my father I did the same. My Paternal Grandmother gave me an algebra book that was my dads, in it was a stainless ruler made locally from a hardware store in 1968, put in a nice note on both and sent them toGeorgia. Unfortunatly they didn't get the box yet. I can't wait.

 

I got my son several presents. Including his first shotgun.

I then donated my time to feeding the homeless people downtown through a organization called Uplift.
Also donated money what I otherwise would have spent on my folks, who don't need anything, to Coats 4 Kids in KC. They provide winter coats to kids who don't have money for them.

 

I gave an engagement ring to my girlfriend! haha.

I gave;

DVD's, a robe, some lighthouse stuff, and some model train stuff.

 

we didn't do presents in my family this year but i gave my boyfriend a puppy and a couple things for his truck

 

I gave gift cards to my family psp to my nephew, to my wife a tiffanys necklace new pj's and a gift card for make-up.

 

I gave my Dad an ipod nano, and my mom a bunch of books mainly cook books

 

Being laid off I had no money and my GF is broke from paying all the bills.

So we baked a mad amount of cookies for everyone.

 

My GF: Alpine type-s speakers(and gonna install tomorrow) for her car
Parents: got em each some good goggles and quik-straps for riding quads since they both needed some.
Grandma: a gold and silver watch
other family: got some practical things like some nice food gifts, etc. didnt really have alot to spend this year though.
