2022 4runner, SR5, 2wd, came with some nonsense accessories such as carpet floor mats and "connectivity package" (ie several usb cables for $200). I paid 1500 above MSRP from a dealer in OKC.

Was out looking yesterday and found a 2022 Pro in lime. MSRP was just under 55K but it had a 15K markup bring the total to almost 70K!

    It made my knees buckle.

Looking for either a PRO, OR or SR5 Premium but I'm not pulling the trigger until inventories are better. I'm keeping my cap to $55K.

I was getting an oil change for my Tacoma today and they had a 22 4Runner pro on the lot also for $55k with a $15k markup. Crazy!!

49k MSRP, 5k markup, 59k OTD in so cal for TRD OR Premium w/ KDSS yesterday. Definitely overpaid but no ones budging out here. Could've gone out of state to save but didn't. Oh well. Made out good on our used highlander. Truck is awesome. Good luck

If you paid 55k for a Premium (and not a Pro), then they either did a significant dealer markup, or you got way more upgrades than I knew they could come with. An ORP with a significant amount of upgrades runs $48k.

“Market Adjustment Fee” is what I ran into at the majority of dealers, I called around 15-20 dealers and that was the first question I asked. If they said yes I hung up. Found that fee anywhere 4Runners are popular.

That's surprising, when I was looking to get mine a few weeks ago, I called (or went to) 6 dealerships (2 in Colorado Springs and 4 in Denver), and all of them said, "Buy from us, don't buy from "so and so", because they have a market adjustment fee and we don't". It was funny, they all pointed fingers at the other guy, but when I called each one, none of them did the markup.

Mine should be ready for pickup anytime between today and this weekend. It arrived at the railhead in Henderson yesterday, and I'm buying it from AutoNation Arapahoe. So far I've been able to see through the BS. They tried to tell me that a 4.5% APR was about the best I was going to find (mind you, they knew I had an 877 credit rating), because, "4Runners and a couple other models have higher interest rates".... I googled auto loan interest rates in Denver and showed them that they ranged from 2.4 to 3.5 on the high end. They told me they could possibly come as low as 3.9. I said, nope. Hahaha. I got financing through my credit union for 2.0. They also tried to screw me on my 2017 Taco trade in, but the most I could get them up to was the bottom end of the KBB range.

yeah they tried to tell me 5% APR was a “good” deal when i put 25k down. I said - nawh ill bring my own financing. He shuffled a couple papers and said, okay 3.5%. I said - dude my credit union is 1.7%.. how dumb so you think i am.

They gave bottom kbb for your truck and will sell it 5k over highest kbb price.

i fucking hate car salesmen. Idk how they sleep at night honestly
