I am looking to purchase a new Taco and before I headed to the dealers I am curious what I can expect to pay. I am looking for a DBL Cab, 4x4, auto, TRD off road, tow pkg. Do dealers go below invoice on Taco's?

I am waiting until the recall fiasco ends and hoping that Toyota does some huge discounts to get people back to their dealerships.

In summer 2008, when gas was $4, and they were only selling econoboxes, they discounted Tacomas $4,500 (factory + dealer). I am hoping it happens again.

I have the same truck that you are looking to get only mine is an access cab. I bought it new in 06 for 26,500. That was after the rebate. Typically toyota dealers don't come down much off the sticker. Now is a good time to buy because I'm sure Toyota will be tryin to sell alot of those vehicles that are not affected by the recall. Good luck

Yeah. I think by the EOM the dealers will be definitely dealing. I think that is when I am going to visit a couple of dealers.

Bought the last weekend of Jan when all the hype started on the news. Sticker was 27765 and I paid $24900 plus TTL etc. Did everything over the phone, walked in 2 days later with a check and OTD in less than 2 hrs. The only deal I found now was there is $750 dealer cash? No one is advertising it but the dealers acknoledges it when i asked. Came out thursday night before last weekend.

If you are asking me, not really. I knew exactly what I wanted. TRD Sport, Tow package, and the deluxe CD. The truck also came with floormats and tint (did not pay for and mats are going up on ebay).

I got the bedmat (excellent and beefier than i thought) and bed extender at internet pricing by the local dealer. Choose 4x2 as it will be mostly onroad driving and some beach (which is very firm).

I just bought a 2010 4x4, TRD Sport, LB, DC last week. It has the 6 disc, tow package, carpet floor mats and the py trd sport package. Sticker was 31,271 and I used the Costco buying program and got it for invoice which was 29,004. The Costco deal changes monthly, some months it 250 over invoice up to 500 over invoice. January it was invoice cost. I looked for two months before I bought and I never found a dealer willing to go below invoice. The best I saw was 200 over invoice before using the Costco buying program. Hope this helps.
