When I went in to buy my truck I kept saying no to be deal they tried to give me the kept lowering the price, finally they offered to sell me one of the demo trucks that the manager was driving and only had 1500-2000 miles on it. the sticker was 30,000 and I paid 24,000 plus I traded in my scion Xb for 10,500 but I still owed 4,000 on it.

Best time to buy is the end of the month, at night, and in the winter, these three things will give you the best deal. Also like one other person said I would we so this recall dies down I guarantee they'll be some discounts.

Riverside Toyota in Tulsa. It was a long drive, but was the best deal. I had 2 other dealerships pricing them out here in Texas. They both went down to invoice price, but wouldn't go any lower which is why I ended up driving to Tulsa.

Are you looking around in this area?

Yeah, I'm Texas, but I've been looking around for a while. I don't know if I'm willing to drive that far, but if I could get that good of a deal, it would be tempting. I'd be happy if some of the dealers would come down to invoice. Were you able to get that deal in light of the recall fiasco? Thanks for letting me know

Yeah, in fact the recall helped me out. When I was first negotiating with them I was approved through Toyota Financial Credit. The APR was OK, but not that great. The next day I get a call from the sales rep. Toyota Financial bumped me up a tier which got me a lot lower APR. I ended up getting my payments where I wanted them for a year less than I was planning on.

What part of Texas are you looking in? I've got the names of several sales guys and dealerships that were giving good deals.

I currently am looking in the Fort Worth area. One dealer has quoted $100.00 over invoice. Are there Tarrant Co. dealers doing better at the moment?

Most of the dealers I looked at were in Dallas.

Just bought a 2010 DBL Cab, 4x4, auto, TRD off road, tow pkg, 6 disc-system yesterday for 29,000.

I would have preferred to have waited until the OEM, but needed the truck before this summer... our local dealer has a reputation for not doing much in the way of bargaining, so I'm fairly happy with the price. Of course, if major rebates, etc. come out next month I'll be a little disappointed, but that's life.
