‘Paid Up’ life insurance policy… they never get any cheaper. Seriously, grandad bought one for my dad when he graduated college. It cost $280… it paid $20K when he died, or…

Build up memories while you're a young couple. Nothing better than having some good times early in the relationship to look back on later on when things get tough. Take them out for a weekend getaway and plan a few fun things that you'll both enjoy. You planning everything makes it a well though out gift that they'll appreciate.

I just found the perfect gift but I have to make it. I think its fairly simple but it will be challenging for me. He has a jeep and we haven't taken the top off yet. I want to make this hoist for the garage. I feel like a spy or something creeping on their forums but I am sure they are nice people too.

That would be a great gift and save over the cost of purchasing the store bought.
I made something even more simple, but it requires 2 people to set it on there, then I raise each corner up a little at a time. Then used some chain for safety (wouldn't want it falling on my Tacoma) I'll post a picture in a sec.

Yeah, that actually holds the hard top. Right now it's just storage for the bikini top for daughter's TJ and complete soft top for my JKU. I've had the TJ hard top up there no problems.

I am so disappointed. I’ve been to the big 3 hardware stores and no unistrut no wall pulleys nothing from the original plans.

My brother says he and his wife go to a Hallmark store pick out cards they'd give each other, hand them over to read and put them back. He said there much too expensive to buy only to be forgotten about the next day or so. Then they find a restaurant they can afford to eat at. In the early years it might have been McDonald's now it's a nice place.

The practicality works everywhere, particularly in the nowaday economy. :bored:
