So the wife's front shocks were worn out on her 2006 Seqouia. Yes I know this is the Tundra section but the Sequoia and Tundra are pretty much the same from the front seat forward. Anyway me being the kind of guy I am I put some Bilstein 5100s and some OME 886 coils on her truck. Voila 2" lift, better ride. Then trouble hits with stock wheels with 235/85/16 BFG Ats. These did not rub at all stock height with the mud flaps off. Now they rub on the frame. Do I buy a different coil to come down a half an inch, or wheel spacers which I would hate to do? Anybody have any magic bullet ideas?

Sounds like you need an alignment and some caster.

    Or aftermarket UCAs.

Good point. I'm getting an alignment on Wednesday. All I know is the wife is ready to kill me for messing with her truck. I had a panic attack when she noticed the rubbing. Do you think the alignment might bring the tires out enough?

As long as the stock UCAs can handle the caster needed to clear the tire. Otherwise, cab mount chop, smaller tire, new wheels, new UCAs or some combination of the above.

Might as well just bury yourself now because she’ll kill you.
