no outlet in my bed but there is a 1000W inverter under my passenger side seat so, anything up to 8.3 amps.

I usually plug in a power strip and run a Dewalt circular saw while my buddies got the 1/2 drill going on some lumber and my Millermatic 140 is going through it's paces fabbing up some sick sliders.

    j/k
When I had the inverter I used it for low power items, pretty much anything that consumes less than 3.3 amps.

I don't have an outlet. If I did have one, I might run a blender or a radio.

I run CFL drop lights when I'm at my buddy's house since he doesn't have crap for outdoor lighting. I've run a hot glue gun a few times, but that's about it.

Thought about getting some hedge trimmers for when I offroad and the branches get a little close since I heard one person doing that. :D

Can't say I've used it much... twice in one year.

I hooked up a coffee maker to brew hot water for hot chocolate last winter.

My husband used it to hook up a soldering gun to make a repair to some electronics in an R/C airplane.

I've had this crazy thought of hooking up Christmas lights on the truck.... My husband would kill me!

I use it to make coffee with a 4 cup Mister Coffee when I am camping or fishing. You have to have the engine running when brewing but can turn off to keep it hot.

That outlet is great for recharging batteries on trips. I use it to recharge my camera battery, gps battery and so on.

I charged my laptop up one time with it...I started to use it for my main power for my laptop, but i got scared i would fry the inverter so i just charged the battery...

I had a set of halogen lights plugged up back there the other night. I had them rigged up so i could push the button and they would come on and blind the guy behind me bright lighting me. But it only runs at 100w when the truck is running so i didnt have enough power for that...But it would have been a good payback for the guy who drives 6 inches from your bumper...
