SR5 had everything that I wanted, plus some extras that I didn't necessarily need. I didn't see the point in paying for suspension and wheels if I'm going to replace them anyways.

2010 DC LB SPORT.. Don't offer the LB with the OR package. Beside's I don't need the temptation to take my 30k truck offroading to much.

Besides the locker and the limited slip differential, is there anything else that's missing when it comes to performance? I can upgrade to Bilstein 5100s like a lot of people are doing. I can buy a locker if I need one. I already have a BSP so the black mirrors and door handles blend in. Just need to paint my grille surround and rear bumper.

4X4 BSP SB TRD sport for me :). Dont really do off roading that much but I figured, hey if I get more into off roading I have the 4X4 and if I need more I can get the locker later. Its also a plus because the Truck is completely blacked out, not really a fan of the chrome:rolleyes:. Each to their own though .

I have the Texas Edition so it doesnt fall into any of the categories listed. I am finding new thing(extras) on this truck every day. Using this forum I have learned that my truck has towing package, and god knows what else. I need to go to the dealer and get a print out of what all this thing has on it.

The Toyota rear sucks , get a True Track, at 50mph if its raining I can still spin both back tires, yes its about 800.00 but its worh it...

bought my2009 Tacoma TRD OffRoad from carmax about a month ago. Love it! Had the base 2008 sr5 before I wrecked it. Pretty well equipped. love the extra electrical outlet in the bed. Added a Kenwood dnx 6140..now has blue-teeth, cd/dvd/mp3/ipod/videos etc sat radio, etc....being "mentally chellenged" the kenwood was pretty easy to install. Working to rid the truck of those "yellow" lights on the dash....

TRD sport 4x4, with double cab, longbed and the tow package. I love the way the hood scoop looks, the only function that it has, is managing to get in my field of vision when going up and over humps, hills, etc. Every time this happens I yell "Hoodscoop!!!"

Neither do I, but sometimes it's nice having more that 1 wheel spinning in the back. ;) Snow, mud, dirt, gravel, off-camber... Anything that can take traction away from 1 wheel and let it spin. Since 2wd is really 1wd.
