I am not sure what I have. I bought my '09 DCSB V6 6-speed last summer used. It has everything the Sport has except a decal and 17" wheels. The door decals says it is rated for P265 -70R 17 tires but it came with 16" wheels and P265-75 16 tires.

Ditched the Sport Bilsteins for OME suspension and would love to get rid of the scooped hood too.

The scooped hood is pretty much a giveaway; sounds like the previous owner swapped out the wheels and removed the decals.

The pessimist in me says the previous owner sold the stock wheels and put on cheaper wheels immediately prior to selling the vehicle.

I honestly love mine man, couldn't justify the extra money for a 6cyl

    Maybe if I towed on a regular basis I'd want a V6.

I have a TRD Sport, 2WD. Wish I had gotten an Off Road, since it comes with 4WD and a trailer hitch.

Yeah man 3k adds up, same reason I didn't get a 4wd. Didn't need it and couldn't justify the cost per month/insurance/yada yada!

    4cyl PreRunner :taco: :D

All the. $2-3K options add up on these things. That's why a fully loaded v6 dclb ect ect can be close to a 40k truck after all is Said and done.

Reformed TRD Sport owner here. Now have a Off Road. Both packages cost about the same, but at least you get some functionality out of the OR package.

I have the TSS package that is offered in the gulf states, but it is just an SR5 base with aftermarket wheels and tires, tube steps, and TSS graphics and floormats.

My TRD Sport has treated me very well, just hit 100K & starts every time I need her to. Granted, she spent a good deal of time in the cushy southern weather of Alabama/Florida but now in Delaware the winters are quite cold & I'm keeping an eye on the frame for rust due to road salt in the winter (so far just a bit of surface rust but nothing major). I've been on several long road trips as well without so much as a hickup. I bought her at 62K & have never once been stranded so I think I'll hold onto her for awhile! :D

I got the trd sport only because it is the only one that is on the db lb. Personally I would have went the OR.
