:anonymous: Wife is going to need a new ride before long. Check out this video, I think it looks promising. Really like the interior.

Full speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control! You can just drive in stop and go traffic and it'll do it's own thing. Also, the new entune 3.0 which *I believe* is going to have the Lexus remote start from your phone feature.

Looks much more refined and sporty compared to the current model. I like it.

I like the newer design. Top reminds me of a Kia but I don't mind that at all.

Here we are almost 2 years later and now planning to get the wife one of these Camrys, most likely the SE trim. Anybody out there had one of these for awhile that could offer a review?

Camrys and Accords are legit. Sure they're FWD but you could do a lot worse than either of these.

I have an 18 XSE V6. It is smooth shifting and riding. Low profile tires can the ride harsh on rough roads. A little noisey in the rain, I think its the plastic covers under the car. Fuel door does not always open promptly. 12,000 miles, 26MPG average. Overall satisfied and would buy it again. Hope this answered some questions.

Thanks for the input. Think we will go test drive a few. I like the thought of the V6 and 300hp but with the bigger engine the price seems to go up considerably. Not sure what the other differences are between the SE and XSE. Hope to find a used one for less than 20k and low mileage so we will probably end up with the 4 cylinder as long as it does not feel under powered. Hope whatever we end up with will be as reliable as the 04 corolla we have owned since new that it will be replacing.

My youngest daughter had one, I think hers was an LE with added options. She loved it. Drove the crap out of it, had a roughly 70 mile (one way) commute.

She traded it for a hybrid Prius in about one year primarially for gas savings as she loved the Camry.

my girlfriend got a '18 a few months before i got my truck, she has the SE with the 4 cyl...as far as expectations is a 4 banger takes a little more gas than you expect to get started without looking like a paw paw, 2nd she averages 33.6-39 mpgs...we've drove it Myrtle Beach last summer and it rides fantastic... plenty of room and will keep in traffic without feeling it, long grades are the issue with the car, we have a hill on I-20 that is pretty steep and is long to keep 70 mph it stays at 4k RPM, the trunk is bigger than you'd expect and the back seats are almost as comfortable as the front ones...got any questions man feel free to ask..we've had the Camry for a little over a year

The Dealer sometimes gives me a Camry to drive, they are nice and pretty comfortable but honestly remind me of an appliance, kinda like driving a refrigerator around.

Had a camry for a couple of months during my frame replacement in 2015. I could not have asked for a more boring ride. It was fine. Did the job. But holy snooze fest

these reviews are pretty much on point LMAO.. she came from a BMW so to her the Camry is an utter shitbox with "decent" interior--her words... i came from a 2002 chevy 4x4 its worlds better than the chevy...at the end of the day if you're used to a tacoma the Camry will be a let down but if you're used to an astro van then its a vast improvement

Test drive a Subaru Legacy as well. I know I'll never go back to a FWD car after driving a Subaru. AWD is just so much more forgiving in corners, dry or wet. The CVT may be a nuisance to some but not to others.

I like to buy Avalons ,after the lease, about 2 years old and 40000 or 50000 miles. I drive them for 100000 miles or more and repeat. It's about the same amount for a stripped down Camry or a loaded 2 year Avalon. I think the Avalon has a little better quality from the ground up.
Just something to think about. Most Avalon leases come back into the used market in almost new condition, unlike some Tacoma!
