i saw something like that in a taco a couple of weeks ago, but it was like customized, just 1"x1" bars soldered, sitting directly on the bed, but that one looks nice, useful too.

I could see where that might be very useful for all sorts of stuff from work to play. Any idea what those racks would cost? Didn't see a price on that web site.

I think they msrp around 650 -700 bucks. I'm going to be a broke SOB in a few days. Hopefully I can find a safari rack that'll mount on top of that really nice for cheap.

I hate it. But then again I don't like toppers either. ;)

It looks like the frame of a topper.

I'm personally not nuts about the way it looks, too much stuff. OTOH, I do like the idea that one could install a temporary cover on such a rack, kind of a tent. There are occasions where a topper would be handy, and yet I don't like one on my truck 24/7. A temporary/removable one would be nice.

doesnt matter, i could never forgive you for all the terrible things you have said about the ridgeline, which is far superior to our trucks in every way :)

Called the manufacturer. The rack lies on top and bolts onto the accessory rails. The nice lady thee took my order and said it'll be 3-4 weeks. They gotta make it.

This pic was taken right after I got the rack on. I've since put the rollers on and have a gawdy orange safety flag on top of my cb antenna. Its hilarious looking when the big yellow kayak is strapped up top. Infact, this weekend I had my kayak on top of the truck and a load of float tubes in the bed. Unlike a topper this made it really easy to load/unload crap and pile on the float tubes and people in the back.

I'll try to get some better pics during lunch.
