I've got a '01 Tacoma 4X4 Double cab with 70K miles. Had the notorious rusted frame sickness and got the new frame, cross members, fuel/brake lines and assorted 1400 pcs of stuff that Toyota provided in the deal. Question is now if I try to sell, what does all of the new stuff do to the value...you can't really research this on AutoTrader or KBB..some say it may add $4 to 5K to the selling price, but I'm not so sure about that...others would say that with such a retrofit, there would always be a cloud of potential electrical or alignment issues that Toyota may or may not cover. I'm thinking about selling, but don't want to get hosed on the pricing...

    Welcome to TW!
I imagine it should keep the value at the higher end...

its not going to do the $4000 more that those peeps told you. probally not much diff in value because everyone that has your truck including me should of had it done. if the other trucks did not have it done, then they must have not been rust holes in it and they also have a great truck like yours. sorry but at least you can tell the prospective buyer that he won't have to go through the bullshit wait time to get it done.
