When you load your bed up with roughly 500 lbs, it will bottom out when you hit bumps.

    Stock for now
    Mine would bottom out with:
    - minimal weight in the bed hitting little bumps or rough road, little potholes.
    - speed bumps at low speed.
    - carrying a couple of normal sized passengers in the back seat of my DC. (not supersized folks at all :))
It was kinda embarassing with the passengers from work, they were like wth?

Talked to the dealer about the bottoming out/harsh ride and they replaced leaf pack/shocks & did an alignment. It does not bottom out anymore under those conditions. This was back in Oct 2007 & still exists today based on customer compliant & if you are within the 3/36 warranty.
