I knew you would chime in:D

Ya my truck is just having to many problems with the suspension being tweeked. My trucks got 183,000 miles on her so the suspension components can only handle so much now and it seems like every week im having to fix something

Im in the hills every weekend so Im not gentle on her, So I figure Im just going to go back to stock and start saving money for college:(

Going back to stock isnt going to help if your not gentle.....LOL

IMPO even if you go back to stock you are still going to have to fix what is wrong. Why not just make the repairs, keep it modified and ease up on the old girl :)?

The lift I have is shit, and I would spend way more buying a new lift then just buying the stuff I need to go back to stock. I am gentle on my truck in the hills:D She is my baby if I hit a rut to hard I get pissed. My mental thinking is why not just spend a few hundred bucks to go back to stock and have factory specs again "less problems in long run," rather than spend a bunch on a new lift:notsure:

I can understand.......just make sure that you would be happy going back to stock. I would hate to see you spend money to go back to stock and not be happy and end up spending more money to get your lift back on.

BTW......saving for and going to college is the right thing to do.

    Good luck

You shouldn't but sometimes the retaining bolts spin out and have to be torched out.

I'm sorry Phil, but I gotta disagree with the "less problems in the long run" statement. My truck was stone stock TRD, I'm not easy on my truck either, I wanted better offroad performance & thats why I've done the things I've done, on the cheap I'll add, I'm not rich, I'm not an engineer either, but I will say that I'm fairly anal about maintenance (lubing my driveline/chassis, making sure shit is tight etc) You know the things that should be done routinely, but you do whats right for you buddy & if I can help you I will ....;):)

I've got no knowledge about what you need to do to return to stock. The advice I have pertains to school choices in WA.

Either you can flaunt your purple and be heretofore known as every derogatory word in the book ... OR you can be a COUG!

    Your call :D

I just looked at my truck and the bolts coming out of the top plate/coil assembley and looked at my dads, my dads only come out of the strut like a inch, and the bolts on mine come out close to 3''

Does this mean I have t buy new bolts for the strut assembely before I put stock coils back on?
