what first????

Alright guys, I just got my sockmonkey decals today and yesterday i bought a clay bar. Should i clay bar and buff before i put the decals on or the other way around???

 

claybar first. why put stickers on dirty or old dead paint?

 

i know i know dumb ? but just making sure =)

 

i would wash the areas you are putting the stickers with dawn dish soap, then use a lil soapy water to apply them.....the dawn will remove any old wax residue or oils.

 

yeah i plan on working on the truck all day sunday getting up in the morning. Claybar it, then wash, then buff, then vacuum, then finally decals =) should be a good day

just a heads up...............you may wanna put the decals on before you wax/buff, cause if you do it after you have waxed the truck....the decals arent gonna stick.

yep....thats how i would do it, cause the truck will be totally clean after the clay bar treatment. let the decals set up for a little while before you wax and buff those areas.
