For the last year or so for me (on PC) I was locked into Escape From Tarkov, iRacing, and Space Engineers. Since the infamous "Wiggle" video (if you know EFT, you know), Tarkov has been a shitshow, so I've branched out a bit.

First, I started dabbling in Ground Branch which is pretty good in it's Alpha state. Similar to Ready or Not, the AI is excellent at ambushes while simultaneously mindlessly charging in to any fatal funnel you create. There is no progression in the game whatsoever, so it's extremely casual. The uniform options and the customization for weapons, plate carriers, belts etc. keeps things interesting. One of our favorite self created modes is "going on vacation" where we wear casual clothing and start with just a pistol and two mags and have to pick up enemy weapons as we fight through the map. Another favorite is getting our SEAL Team 6 on and raiding Bin Laden's compound.

I'm still playing Space Engineers once or twice a week. I live in creative mode and have my game set up with as many "The Expanse" themed mods as possible, basically just building ships to test against AI.

Same with iRacing. I went from multiple series every week down to one (GR86 cup). If I don't have the track for that week, I just turn hot laps on the next track in the rotation I do have.

A buddy of mine got me hooked on Satisfactory. It's kind of hard to explain, but it is an engineering dream (or nightmare). This is one I'm usually playing daily. The guy that got me hooked on it set up a server then promptly had to leave for three weeks for Reserve training, so I'm trying to make as much progress as I can before he gets back.

In the sim realm, I recently downloaded DCS with the lower fidelity A-10A module. That has been, challenging. On the plus side, I could now cold start and A-10A and at least get it in the air. Landing? Probably not one I'd walk away from. Luckily there are some good tutorials online to walk me through everything. I'm using a webcam based head tracker and that makes for an incredible VR-like experience while still being able to look down at switches. I tried using the head tracker in iRacing too with mixed results. It will take some fiddling with the settings before I'm really comfortable there.

I have been putting off getting back to Elden Ring. I swear you take a 1 week break from any FromSoft game and you're just dead in the water.

    During that break
    Company of Heroes 3
    Horizon Zero Dawn
    The Ascent
    Iron Harvest
    Rollerdrome
    Age of Empires 4

Oof! I read "rotation" and thought about tires. Wrong thread, I guess.

But, if anyone is interested - Z formation, every 5K miles. ;)

Recently tried mudrunner and got addicted to snowrunner when I found out how improved it was. I'm usually a shooter guy, but those are nice games to kind of zone out in and watch youtube or netflix. Then I'll inevitably spend 45 minutes recovering vehicles and cargo because I was distracted and rolled into a river or something. I also like going back and replaying KotOR 1 & 2 and the Mass Effect trilogy when I have more time to kill than usual.

I'm a huge Fallout fan...put many hours into each one as they came out. I play Fallout 4 quite regularly, and with all the mods for it, it never gets boring. I've played it through more times then I can count. I also like flightsim...I've been with MSFS since it started...many flight hours logged. I enjoy Mudrunner for the fun of trying out all the different vehicles and the feel and emersion it gives. City builder games like Anno 1800, surviving Mars, keep me bust when I just want to sit back, relax and not have to think of 20+ keystrokes to get things done. My latest is Call of Duty MW2...I play Coop with my son...talk about getting fired up!!! It's a high paced game and you have to be on your toes.

Fallout is a favorite series of mine as well. Friend convinced me to play 76, while not the the best, they have made some great improvements. Looking forward to Starfield!

My gaming time is so infrequent it's tough to get into any long game. My newest system is a PS3 (first run with backwards compatibility, lucked out and scored it a couple of years ago with almost no use.

Actually played a little old school the other night.

I started playing Space Engineers a few weeks ago (it was my first time) and it's an amazing game. I wish I had more time to play, but now I have a lot of work tasks and can play just on weekends.
I also play Fallout 4, and can say that it's one of my favorite games.

Console rat here. Mainly Battlefield 4, and Halo for me. 35, and most of my friends stopped gaming over the years except one, and we mostly just rotate between bf4 and Halo.

Waiting for the new console release of 7 days to die, since the current one hasnt been updated since 2017 - when the console distributor went bankrupt. Current console version sucks, but we are supposed to get a new console version (new game- not an update) to match the current pc version- which is worlds apart.

Would love to build a gaming pc one day- hate being limited to console.
