    i have an 04 4X4 SR5 four cyl and i am just wondering what gears i have in my truck?

    'm going to upgrade from my 265/70's to 32x11.5 r15's this summer and just wondering if i will keep enough power to get around fine?

    THIS CHART IS FOR '95.5-04 MODELS ONLY!
    The axle code for your rig can be found on the manufacture's sticker located on the driver's side door jamb as follows:

    First digit:

    A = 7.5" ring gear
    B = 8" ring gear
    Next two digits:

    01 = 3:42
    02 = 3:58
    03 = 4:10
    04 = 4:56
    05 = 3:15
    06 = 3:91
    07 = 4.30
    Last digit:

    A = 2 Pinion, Open
    B = 4 Pinion, Open
    C = 2 Pinion OEM Limited Slip
    some '98-00 models have shown a BO code of "???" on the door plate; so far this turns out to be a 3.91 gear ratio, at least for the 5sp. RZN171L-CRPDKAB with factory 31s/265s should be 4.56 with the AT.

    A 2004 3RZ XtraCab 4X4 manual (non-TRD) should have a 3.91 final gear ratio.

    so if i put 32's on it would i still be ok? as of now my speedometer says i'm going faster than what i really am with the 265/70's on. It has to be around 69 on the speedo for me to be actually going 65

    32's should just about perfectly correct your speedo. And yes, I have 4.10's

    i was debating going with 33x10.5's but i figure that would kill my power and mileage so i'm going with the 32's

    I understand the lower the ratio the better the fuel economy; the higher the ratio the better for towing (or something similar). What do the other two gears do? I have a code B03A (2001 V-6 TRD 5spd).
