lol... They were in the middle of replacing a cracked headlamp. No idea what they did with the harness, but I'll deal with that tomorrow.

Good call... Looking at the picture again, as well as what JdevTac posted, looks like it is there. I'll make sure to point it out to the mechanic tomorrow!

Thanks everyone! Hopefully I'll be a real member soon :)

    I think you're right....
Was this truck n a wreck?
Someone got sloppy and didn't put it back in place after repairs...
It's flipped upside down for sure, or looks like it is

Could’ve been replaced but bracket+old pump were thrown out by accident or something and whoever did it was lazy and just left it as is.

I'd pass unless they're giving it away.

Pump is there. Bolt it back in place, buy the truck, and do the @slyfox75 mod to make sure the pump and valves don't fail. $50 and easy install, saves you up to $2000. Oh and as mentioned, clearing the maint req light is easy - it's the oil change reminder.

Just click where I tagged him and send him a message. Here's the thread. This is the page where he joins in the conversation. The kit is flawless on the 4cyl. As far as I know, it doesn't work on the V6.

Yeah id be worried as to why the pump was like that. If you are buying this truck go over with a fine tooth comb cus that is a VERY VERY odd thing to have like that.

    Update:
If you had your money on "The car was totaled" please collect your prize at the door.

The inspection revealed prior (unreported) damage to the front of the car. Thanked the seller, paid the mechanic, walked away...

Thanks to everyone for the good advice!

If the truck ran and drove well, and the mechanic didn't find anything else wrong, and you like the truck, offer less money. A lot less. You can offer more if the seller doesn't bite, but you can't offer less. ;)
