    amen! ...and the alarmists have been unmasked for the utter fraud they perpetuate - funny how they've concocted their whole scheme in a test tube, and seem to ignore the fact that the sun (and the dynamic changes it undergoes, ...often times cyclic) has a direct impact on our weather/climate/etc.. - because it is the phenomenon (UV, visible light, infrared, solar wind) that fuels the whole shebang! real meterologists, scientists, engineers understand this because they have a view of everything to the water cycle, to oceanic cycle/ossillation, to the sun's impact on RF communications.. the alarmists ingnore correlations between solar activity and earth weather patterns/cycles... they also act like the earth is an open loop system, and that any imbalances can't be counterbalanced in a naturally occuring way... - which is kinda as absurd as saying that if you move water from one end of the swimming pool to the other, it won't even itself out..

    yep, ...ethanol wreaks havoc on carbureated engines.. it also wreaks havoc on your vehicle's fuel efficiency, ..and hence, fuel mileage...

    we get worse fuel mileage because of ethanol in it... you'll probably notice it gets noticeably worse in the winter (cold months), as gas stations move to ethanol-heavy winter "blends" :(

    Wow, so much anger. Ok the earth heats and cools over millions of years. Last time it heated up there were no humans to suffer. Are you saying humans are NOT adding to the rate that the green house gases are accumulating? That we are not helping things along?Regardless of the ethanol rant, What does your degree suggest we do to slow the on coming crisis? Plenty of complaints but no suggestions to fix the problem. Must be a FOX NEWS fan. Maybe we should just pray more.

    i'm maybe not a scientist but i lived next to a glacier for a number of years driving one of these buses....
    http://www.flickr.com/photos/planetadventure/805778363/

    in only the few years i worked there i noticed a big change in the glacier retraction...here's a pic of the glacier melt pace in the last century up to 1998;
    http://faculty.geog.utoronto.ca/Har... 1907-1998 (Whyte Museum & Brian Luckman).jpg

    and from 1998 up to now it's almost double, it's speeding up...

    So that to say that global warming and ice age may take millions of years to happen but their is also cycles triggered by our sun which happens every 11 years...and hotter every time...humans may accelerate the process but i think either way it would still catch up to us and change our climate as it changes on all other planets. sad to say but as long as money will rule this planet we are doomed...maybe we are now due for a major wipe out, maybe we need to go back to the drawing board as the georgian guide stone suggest...

    Well, I should have seen almost 5 such solar cycle changes so far then. This is my first. It only takes a few degrees to really screw the entire oceanic cooling effect of the earth. The glaciers shrinking and the polar caps disappearing at alarming rates should be enough to open eyes here. It IS common knowledge that mankind IS accelerating the amount of green house gasses in the atmosphere, therefore speeding up the process. People don't give a shit because they can't be bothered to modify their lifestyles slightly in their own little worlds or they choose to follow a conspiracy theory point of view about the entire affair. It's big money that is driving the fight against modifications to the "standard operating procedure" and it's big money for a change at the same time. You are correct, as long as money is the catalyst, we are screwed.

    It's the truth, deal with it. I live in my means grow my own veggies raise my own chickens to eat and for their eggs and catch rain to shower and drink, although I do depend on mankines inventions I try to leave as small of a foot print on this earth as possible. So I'm pretty far off from " you are what you think" I'm just stating facts plain and simple

    here's a classic...

    bill nye "the science guy" :rolleyes: vs. a real meteroologist, joe bastardi..

    ...notice how bill nye shows up w/ IPCC propoganda hockey stick graphs .., and the meteorologist actually presents real data and meteorological historical data explanations..

    ... BTW, ..i find it funny that the alarmists can never quite control the "expected" outcomes, as their crisis prediction never come true, and in fact, are often reversed !!!!! How many times will useful idiots let them cry wolf?

    tell me what credibility can be attained from this: OMG global cooling (1970's) >>> OMG global warming (1990's) >>> OMG climate change (today)...

    ...folks look for the man behind the curtain, ..do not give him your money, liberty, or sovereignty... ...follow the money...

    Where's the option for a little bit of both sides being correct ?

    Or is that not black and white enough ?
