Didn't the idiots back in the 70's say that the earth was having global cooling too, back during that time period?

Dont forget "Pre Heat" = June

    450* Bake = July.

AND....It has only recently gone below 105*, so I would say August thru September. :)

Sorry, I left in 85. I forgot about those. I can remember when I first moved there from the "Jersey Shore" and in the last week of August thought I would just walk BAREFOOT on a concrete walk way over to the laundry room (about 140 feet). YEAH Right! I learned that one as fast as Helen Keller learned not to touch hot stoves!

But it's a DRY heat!!! ;) Aren't all ovens dry?

I spent two months in Prescott in 2007, Sept and Oct. Granted it was the high country, so it's quite a bit cooler, but the temps were still 85+ during the day when I flew out on Oct 27th...

I will say though that 95 in AZ is a lot more comfortable than 85 in NC...our humidity is deadly...

Maybe....My Wife and I are not bothered by Humidity. We go to Florida often, and we were there duing a "Heat Wave" which was 90* + and 90% + humidity....It was cool to us. People there were crying the blues about how hot it was, and I just replied "Whats it like in the SUMMER time"...

Maybe it's grass-is-greener syndrome, because AZ at 105 and like 20% felt easier to me than NC at 90 and 95%. Maybe the body just likes change...

105* isnt bad. Actually....up to about 110* its not too bad....115* and up is hell. Keep in mind, they take the temps here 6' off the ground in the shade. AND, I belive they skew the reports (As in to not affect turisim). I seem to go thru 1 out door thermo a year.

Yup, and they do that to get an accurate ambient air temp, not ground temp. When you look at one of those crazy weather sensors with the wind gauge and all the other funny little arms extending from it, the thermometer is the honey comb looking thing. Something I dont like that the National Weather Service has been doing is overwriting the record high temps when they TIE!. I.E. The hottest day ever in phoenix couldve been recorded in 1956 with 119' (just throwin numbers out) but if it reaches 119' again, then the new date will be recorded as the hottest day ever. Stupid if you ask me. Helps the "OMGzzz Our world is getting hotter!!!" Argument.

    BLASPHEMY!!!!
