Unbiased... Hmmm, I'm not sure if anything objective in any topic truly exists as it is nearly impossible for people to completely divorce themselves from their core beliefs.

However, I do think Richard muller's recent conclusions are telling as he is very skeptical and reportedly receives lots of funding from the petroleum industry. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mobileweb/2011/11/03/its-science-not-skepticis_n_1072419.html

He concluded that climate change is man made. Now the question is how bad and how fast.

As for additional evidence, go look for it. Consider the IPCC, a clearinghouse for such research, for a start.

..the IPCC is the "belly of the beast", ... "clearinghouse"??? LOL, only thing they are clearing there are checks written by gullible nations...

even the guy who started the whole thing was caught admitting it was alarmism, and the data isn't panning out the radical claims, ....and the climate-gate email leaks didn't help their case either :D

well that was interesting , I did a bit of digging on that paper's author , Peter Gwynne

    http://www.examiner.com/article/peter-gwynne-author-of-the-the-cooling-world-newsweek-1975

    Here's an excerpt

Thank you for your note. You've hit on a point that has bugged me for a few years now, ever since I learned that the deniers of global warming were using my Newsweek piece to support their position. As you correctly point out, the article summarized the science of the time. Since then, numerous climate-sensing satellites have gone into orbit and theoretical understanding of atmospheric chemistry has improved considerably. I have occasionally thought of publishing an update to the article, but I’ve always decided that such an action would garner unwanted notoriety without changing any minds.

so we all agree greenhouse gases are BAD for the environment, that they cause problem with the atmosphere. We also all agree that we pump a shit load of it out daily into the air as well. But people don't agree those gases are harming the atmosphere?

sorry oz, ...but these guys have zero credibility.. they blew it in the 1970's w/ "global cooling alarmism", blew it in the early 2000's w/ global warming and the ridiculous hockey stick graph, which means they "double down' and cry "climate change".... zero.... credibility...

the whole point to selling snake oil is to get the money and haul ass before the unwitting victim finds out... they failed at their own game... well, we're onto them and giving chase :D
