    Ok. So let's say ur numbers are right from 4 years ago. 22 percent is a lot of people. If Drugs were legal those charges would not apply. I'm not saying non violent crimes are all not valid. I'm just saying we should change what we consider valid reasons to imprison a human being. Of course there are people there that should never come out.

    The others are right. This thread is about global warming (cooling, change, doing nothing, or whatever), not our opinions about the valid reasons for imprisoning those who violate the law (especially since our opinions vastly differ). As such, I'll let this particular discussion go with what's already been said.
