Does anyone know what happened to the BF Goodrich Rugged Terrain T/A ??? It seems they are no longer carried by most of the tire stores in my area.

I have a 2013 Tacoma Prerunner and it came with the Texas edition mags and P265/65R17's. See pic below.

My truck is in the collision shop and I need one yesterday to replace the right front.

Probably going with the Michelin LTX A/T2 unless someone knows of a stack of the Rugged Terrains in the Dallas area.

Just talked with BFG. They are bringing back Rugged Terrain, due to demand. Back in August.

    Thread Revival.

Was talking to my Tire guy the other day (early Feb. 2018) and he said the BFG Rugged Terrains A/T's were being discontinued.
Can anybody confirm this?...I've had mine for a while and was going to get another set of these soon.

    Thanks for any help.

They are discontinued unfortunately.Super solid tire in my opinion.Put 52k+ on the set i had with a lot of road trips and offroading.Switched to the BFG K02 AT’s.

Thanks Ron. Damn, yea i really like the performance i've gotten from them as well.
Anyone know if BFG has a direct replacement?...like from the Trails to the Terrains?
The KO2's are a great looking tire, but for my use they are a bit much.

No loss if they discontinued them. Rugged Terrains are notorious for alternating knob wear, noise and are suicidal in snow. I STILL own a set of five that I keep racking up DD miles on. When you are forced to get dedicated winter tires (because the Rugged Terrains suck so bad) for 25% of the year a summer set of five last awhile.
