Hahaha...some day when we are older we’re all going to tell our grandkids that we used to buy 9mm when it was $9 bucks a box...They will be like...”Ya right grandpa...and I’m sure you walked up hill both ways to get it....in the snow!”

19 bucks is not bad right now...Hey and at least it’s still cheaper than OSB....

I saw that about a week ago and laughed so hard my drink came out my nose.....my wife informed me we could retire if I sold all my ammo and all the lumber in the garage. I quickly quoted scripture:

she laughed....I might get to move back in tomorrow :rofl::rofl:

Rural King this morning. $3.99 a box. That's fair.

Crazy ain't it Shane? I'm all for supporting the LGS's. But when the dust settles (and it eventually will) I'll remember who the opportunists were.

I know the small stores don’t get as good of purchase price as the big stores but goodness.

Agreed. My LGS is getting raped on ammo from their distributors but have tried to keep the prices down the best they can. They have had issues keeping their gun inventory strong as well. I bought a box of 9mm recently for $25 and a box of 45 for $30 (1-box limit per caliber). Not the best prices but way better than the gouger LGS down the street that sells the same for $50/$55 per box.

I feel bad for my regular LGS in these crazy times and try to spend what I can there to help keep their doors open.

One of the LGS I visited recently wanted $45 for 50 rounds of .40 Blazer. As much as I want to support them I just can’t bring myself to do it at that price.

We have one shop that actually might close because he has been bending people over on prices (people are pissed) and no one is showing any love but the other 2 are booming with reasonable prices.

    Bad shop just for comparison PMR 30 $799 Glock 19 $739 the 2 good shops PMR 30 $439 Glock 19 $529

I've seen the extremely high prices online a lot but not so much locally. Then again I usually only visit the LGS/range where I'm a member and they've kept things fair and reasonable much like the shop I just posted his costs on.

I personally wouldn't do business in the future with any shop I saw gouging people either
