What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

I'm not knocking the small stores, my wife and I own a small convenient store and hear it all the time "so and so has the same thing cheaper". We just can't compete with them because we don't buy the volume they do.

 

Hadn't been to Crapela's (ummm I mean Cabela's) in weeks. Stopped by quickly and it's the same ole' shit show. Huge line for what limited ammo was being unloaded and brought out to the distribution/allotment table.

 

Walmart. I was there buying a couple 5 Qt jugs of motor oil and stopped by the gun dept.

 

its like pulling teeth to get the dept folks to go and check to see if they have ammo as they now keep it in the back now

 

This was right in the display case behind the counter. Had a fair amount of other calibers too.

 

Here they're keeping it in the stock room as they have cleaned out the gun cases and racks and now only have a small case shelf area. If you can find someone that understands then it takes them another hour to go look.

 

Consider it a social experiment.

never heard of them, and I honestly do not trust any of those Turkish "tacticool" shotguns that have just swamped the industry. I remember the UTAS-15 and how they would split right down the middle. I'd rather find an old 870 or 500 and use that (in fact, that's what I have). I don't even trust the Charles Daly 870 clones since they're Turkish also. I'd love to have a Saiga or Vepr 12 though, they're about the only mag fed shotgun I would trust.

 

Oh and the same LGS has a Silencer Shop kiosk (one of three in the state). Set up my profile and ordered a Griffin Armament Paladin 5.

 

You would be hard pressed to find any real issues with these guns made in Turkey some of these shotguns coming out of there are nothing less than awesome....

It was quite easy and intuitive. They said jail time is currently 5-6 months. Not too bad at all.
