What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

I've been wondering about Swamp Fox if they're any good. What else have you used to compare them with?

 

well that’s good news. Hopefully I can get out and put some rounds through my AR that I built over the last few months (years).

 

I have been extremely happy with my swampfox arrowhead 1-8. Don't have much to compare it too since it's my first lpvo but a buddy has shot and was equally impressed and he's got everything up to s&b glass on his rifles

 

Picked up this 870 20ga for $300. Never been fired and has one choke. Saw it this morning and new I'd be in the area waiting on my wife and newborn at the doctor so I had time to kill. Why no plan to buy a shotgun haha.

 

I ordered a PSA 9" handguard about 30 seconds ago.

 

I will probably make a few people mad but this is probably the best shotgun ever made hands down

 

Anyone familiar with Uberti Walker or Dragoon revolvers?

Have been eyeing a BP revolver.

 

Hicock45 on YouTube has a few videos of Uberti revolvers, very informative

 

I have 2 of them, very reliable and great squirrel guns.

 

I jumped on it bc I haven't seen on in stock anywhere or one private sale under $400. So I figured I can't lose on it if I decide it don't want to keep it.

 

I have looked through a Sig Romeo 5 and while a good well built sight the red dot bloomed to a big starburst for me. I have an inexpensive AIM sight I tried and using the green illumination it was fairly clear but there were other features I didn’t care for. So not a lot of experience with illuminated reticle sights. I have simply been impressed with how well built these are, perhaps a little heavy for some, the glass clarity, the levels of illumination, and how well the shake awake feature works. I am in no way claiming these to be the greatest sights ever they simply fill my needs and I have no complaints. I have always been a Leupold fan boy but won’t hesitate to buy another Swampfox when I’m looking for an LPVO

Picked up a direct Euro import HK45, and a Walther P22 for the wife. I've always loved the ergonomic fit of the Walthers, they feel so good in the hand.

 

Should get me through upland and waterfowl season. $75 for the range pack.

 

Bought a couple speed loaders, one for pistol, one for AR

 

spent $1.72 at Home Depot yesterday to turn my new sub $200 Maverick Cruiser into a proper shotgun. had the buttstock just needed the proper length bolt and a couple of washers

 

Bought a nice Winchester model 70 in .223 short mag

Has an old Weaver scope and four full boxes of ammo.
