Just go to a match! The matches I've shot are very welcoming to new shooters, women, children, and disabilities. Many have loaner rifles setup with dope already, just pay for ammo, or I'm certain someone will loan you a bipod and whatever else for the day.
It's definitely a blast, we're Leaving today, we'll be camping at the gun club, and shooting a center fire PRS match tomorrow and NRL22 Sunday. They both have their challenges, recoil management vs wind calls, etc etc.

I’m just realizing the MTR and Match Pro doesn’t qualify for base class. I just got a Athlon Cronus yesterday for my 452. I might just run that, balance be damned. At least I’ll have a good excuse. I’ll get my dope in a few days.

A few years back I started in open (because I was too lazy to look up the criteria), it doesn't matter which class, you're shooting same COF and with the same squad. Only difference is, if you want to place higher. There's some that stay in base so they can feel better about placing higher or winning but that's the minority. The folks that run the NRL22 don't try to hide it, they'll tell you, base class is a starting point, not somewhere to stay. Since I need a lefty, I'm now in open, and take my beatings haha, I'm just there to have fun.

Just the same you paid for a new firearm , its not too much to expect it to work .
Now it has to be shipped back , and you got-to wait for it to be hopefully repaired .
The choices should be 1 your money back , 2 another new rifle ,3 full credit towards
Something else , 4 send the faulty rifle back .
It pisses me off , I've been through it with Remington and S&W . They both made it right
After 3 to 5 month ordeal , but the stores washed their hands immediately ,
Once the credit card went through .

That’s true. I won’t be losing much which will offset the tolls around here. Plus the happiness I will regain not working in that shit hole of DC anymore dealing with protests, rioting bullshit….

What part of the South? Well, I guess any part of the south would be better than that shithole called DC!

We will be right on the NC/SC border between Tega Cay and Lake Wylie.....

I spend $60 a week in tolls plus gas just to and from work and the tolls are going up again this yr another proposed 15 cents off peak and 25 cents peak hrs.....

I got (hopefully) what I need to mount a 34mm scope tube to a CZ 452.
I also yesterday got a benchrest adapter for it.49A331A3-196A-4FF8-970A-01E140EB9DB5.jpgEDD215B7-F6D8-4BAA-9AC1-EDC01489F867.jpg

This came in the mail today. It was dead on arrival. It turned ON for a bit and then I shut it down according to the manual. Looked all over on how to turn it back on and there is nothing in the manual that tells me how. I tried different approaches, holding the UP button, holding the down button. Clicking one time on each button, clicking both, holding both. Tried different batteries, all to no avail. Very disappointing. It's going back[IMG]
