Has anyone else delt with one of those "Dura Touch" coatings on a Browning or Winchester Rifle or Shotgun?

It's a fuckinv mess!

Over time, it turns sticky as hell. If you have a beard, like me, a sticky stock is no bueno.



The camo looked great... but that sticky shit had to go. Unfortunately, when you clean the stickiness off, it pulls the hydrodipped camo patern with it.



So... we're gunna paint this bitch.

 

Im pretty sure browning would have warrantied it

 

Ya, they lost a lawsuit because it was that bad.

It only takes about 9 MONTHS from the time you send it in, till the time you get your shotgun back.

 

I didn't realize it was that long. I don't blame ya ive sprayed a few guns

 

Just finished.

For a rattle canned field shotgun, I can't say I'm disappointed.

 

When it gets scratched up just repaint

If it's too much of a pain in the ass, I'll have the stock and pump duracoated later.

Bought a Vortex Viper HST 6-24x50 scope for my Remington 700 long range. I'm replacing a Vortex Viper HST 4-16x44, which may or may not be found on this site for sale.
