Just a piece of 3/8 fuel line as suggested by another guy a few pages back. It sure does help more than I expected it to and cheap/easy enough to replace if it falls off.

Yeah, the stock bag is from Rifle Dynamics and is designed for a traditional triangle stock but it fits this one from Bone Steel well enough. I punched some grommets into the back part of the bag so I could use 550 cord to keep the bottom corners spread out and make accessing the pocket easier. Haven't figured what I will put in it besides a flathead and small bottle of lube. Really I got it more for the bit of pad it provides on top.

That drum looks sick, definitely on my list to get one of these days.

We joke but living in suburbia my air rifle sees more frequent use than most of my proper firearms. Especially now with lots of trees bearing fruit, vermin control is great practice.

I think any rear loading drums are decent that is not from korea - all of course will be loud considering their design. I would avoid any top loading ones

As for mags all are good to go depending on range use or carry - the only mags i have had very unreliable feeds from are cheap steel Croatians

No shame in that game especially if you have neighbors that like to call the LEO every time they hear a twig snap

Is there kind of a go-to make/model .22 pistol? Like, if someone wants to just have a .22 pistol sitting by the back door… what would the “buck knife” be that you could go down and pick up at the “hardware” store for cheap (relatively speaking).

    Ruger?

The ruger mark (latest Roman numeral iteration it’s up to IV) is the benchmark for 22 pistols.
People like buck marks too :)

Pretty much the crème de crème there. Can't go wrong with any of those suggestions. Depending on a more specific use, one may be preferred over another. But that aside, all are solid performers. I own 3 of those 6, and they put a smile on my face every time I run 'em.

I went with a G44. Reason being all my pistols are Glock, so I figured the repetition would be near the same. I'm also a bit of a weird brand whore

Ruger SR22 gets my vote. Love mine, super reliable and accurate. Carry it around my property all the time.

I like my 22/45 Lite but it is a little bigger and seems more target pistol-ish to me.
