I was shopping mounts a lot recently. (all in the used market on reddit, arf, etc). You can usually find that mount around $180-190 new and used for $140-150 shipped. Just for reference.

I put a FDE Beretta Bobcat in .22 on layaway, the only reason I want it is for the threaded barrel so I can put the Osprey micro on it.

My coworkers are starting to tell me I can’t buy any more guns for a while, they even tried to say no to the beretta but I explained to them why I wanted it and they want to see it so they let me do it.

I had a Ruger 1911 cmd. Great solid gun. Esp for someone wanting to get into a 1911 for not much cost. Sold it to a buddy for his first handgun for $600 and then bought this for $700.

Holy chit, I've done a lot already!!
So the class is a go. I posed this question to one of the instructors... "Just need a little advice on which handgun to bring. My first one, and most experienced, is my M&P shield. I've shot it the most. But I bought a Kimber Micro 9 last December that I have some, not a lot, of experience with. It is the gun that feels most comfortable to carry, but the shield I have the most experience with. Which do you recommend that I bring? I have all necessary equipment for both, so that's not a problem."

His smart ass LOL answer... "That's totally up to you. I know Kimber's are good at keeping papers from blowing away on a windy day but I would say whichever you would most be using to defend yourself with would be the most useful to train with since thats what you'll be using in a crisis situation."

I'm leaning toward the shield, as I'd never hear the end of it  if the micro 9 has a jam or something. And it has been flawless since I've owned it. Any thoughs/recommendations?

I thought so I went after a cheap Winchester safe that was much smaller and this one was sitting right next to it. And the Winchester was $399.99 o_O

I left a 2.5 cubic ft office safe in my old house when I sold it and told my Wife we would get Her a nicer one when we moved. Heck I gave $289 for that small safe from Sam's. She has two sets of silverware She wants to lock up too.
