I'm sure not sure it's a rigged game for the knowledgeable that understand the game. I have watched prices on guns/trends/times for yrs, It all depends on your willingness to PAY the HIGH prices. The hysteria that has driven the current chaos was nothing but fear driven unlike any other school or mass shooting etc: maybe rightfully so in some's eyes. I am starting to see a flood of used never shot hand guns hitting the gun cases at the local shops.

I think a lot of these dealers were caught of guard by the slump in overall gun sales are trending downward after record highs during the prior administration to 45. According to the FBI numbers, The amount BG's conducted of licensed firearm dealers and retailers when they make sales, dropped from 3.3 million in December 2015 to 2.8 million in December 2016. In January 2017, there were 2 million background checks performed, compared with 2.5 million in January 2016 and 2018-2019 were on pace for the same out come then COVID hit and the chaos started. I know a few dealers that bought truck loads of AR's right before the 2016 election and were stuck with AR's that were worth what they paid for them and you were able to get good entry level AR's for $450-$500 bucks for two yrs or so. Some dealers took the gamble and lost because we all know what would have happened if the out come went the other way those $450-$500 AR's would have been $1200-$1500 bucks.

If you didn't have your firearms and ammo before this bullshit happened you were late to the party and screwed side ways by a cactus.

I started seeing the writing on the wall after Columbine shooting and others and seen what was coming and just happened to be out in front of it.

I know of three local dealers that have deep pockets and with the help of a Capital investment group bought 12,000 AR's yes 12,000 AR's CMMG, Stag, Windham Armory, S&W M&P 15 and a few others for $3.7 million bucks. What was to be a hopeful $10 Million plus return @ $900-$1,000 each was just over $4.6 million dealers barely broke even and the Capital investment group got the rest.

Got the call that my LCP Max was ready to be picked up. When I got there to grab it they told me that my M&P 15-22 pistol was back from repairs and ready for pick up too!

The LCP Max is super light and small, the 12 round extended mag let’s you get a good grip on it. Mrs. Taco immediately claimed it to be hers.

    Crossroads at Reno?

Miwall usually brings their semi truck of ammo. They used to have their factory "store" open one day a year in the foothills for direct sales.

Well I managed to snag a SA M7 Classic and a SAM7SF-84E. These were my last two endeavors for a while as it hurt to get these and the 101s. Only thing left is to deban the SLR95 And I think I'm good with milled AKs for a while :bananadead:

I’ve been shooting a bit of ammo lately but haven’t really looked for any in about 3 months.

Canceled the layaway on the cheap 1911 that I started the other day and replaced it with a GP100 match Champion chambered in 10 mil, hopefully 10 mil ammo shows back up at work.

Also talked to our buyer and got lined up to order a vault door in February when he submits our order for safes.
Now if our summer would stop being insanely wet I could need to start getting some work done so I can build.
