    So I've been on the lookout for one of these for well over a year. Was hoping/planning on using it for this year's Moose hunt here in Maine, but I didn't get drawn (again). A local GS bought a collection (most seem to have never been fired) of Ruger #1's. Many were listed on their web site, but I didn't see a 45-70, so I called. They had one, but had not listed it yet. They held it for me and I picked it up today for a reasonable price. Very excited!!

    This one is staying naked with the open sights.
