I might have went a little Glock happy :D. I wasn't a huge fan of the Gen 3 RMR slide I had on my Freedom Wolf frame so I parted with it and picked up a Gen 5 45 slide, upgraded w/ Wilson Combat springs, trigger, and sights. I also snagged a Gen 5 34 MOS slide that came with a Burris Fast Fire III, then turned around and traded the Burris for a MCK.

So far I'm a big fan of the size, slightly thinner than my Gen 4 19 frame, I like how it sits in my hands and its a bit less bulky to conceal. I also like that it uses Gen 4 internals over the Gen 3 trigger housing that most 80% frames use, idk how big of a difference it makes but it's been super reliable with both my gen 4 and gen 5 slide. Cons, I'd say I prefer the way the rails are designed on the Poly 80 kits, the Lone Wolf uses 4 separate rail sections and it definitely helps to have a sanding block to plane and polish the rails once set in place. I also had a problem with the backstrap coming loose, but I played with it until I decided which I liked best and just epoxied it in.

The clip for my shell caddy came today. It’ll be nice doing a 3 gun without loading the shotgun from my pants pocket…..

For a tip-barrel 86 that is about a third of what they cost now. I would love to find one at that price.

Just went to gunbroker.com and search ‘Steyr AUG’. There’s plenty on there.

MSAR has a clone of the AUG you can find from time to time as well. I personally own one and have had it for over a decade and love it

Anyone got a spare takedown pin spring and detent. No I didn't shoot one into orbit. Just bought a partly assembled LMT lower and it comes with pins but no detent or springs. I have a spare one at my house but I am in need of 2 (one for each pin). I found some online for .89 each but shipping is $8. Thought I'd ask here first if anyone has one and I can pay you for them and the stamp/envelope they will need for travel.
    Thanks in advance

EDIT: Nevermind. I found a place that only charges $2 for shipping. (damageindustriesllc.com)

Walmart by work has actually had bricks of 22 in stock for the last 2 weeks but a 100 round/1 bulk box limit so I’ve been going in every day at lunch for my 1 brick.
