    Same crap everyone else got
When you're on the search for an LMT lower and you pull the trigger early and then a day after it ships you see one local that is the older logo lower (which I wanted originally), geissele trigger, and b5 sopmod enhanced stock, and enhanced LMT trigger guard. You just gotta go get it too. Got it for $300 and my old Goodyear duratracs I had listed for $100!

Heard it through the grapevine that Palmetto State Armory is in cahoots with an Eastern European company to get equipment and tooling over to the states to make steel case and AK rounds domestically. No other details beyond that so far unfortunately.

It also came direct from PSA's rep on Arfcom in the AK section. He said 2023 at the earliest.

Only shells I could get in case quantity. Kinda regretting that I bought 4 cases after shooting a few rounds of sporting clays.

Probably because ca has some very draconian gun laws especially in regards to pistol purchases. Basically with maybe 3 exceptions no handguns introduced to the market since 2012 are available here.

    Most modern rifles as well.

Or he has a restraining order against him.

    Not bought but sold?
50 pieces of 243 Winchester brass for $25 that's pretty close to what I paid for it several years ago. It's seems unreal that so much stuff is out of stock everywhere. I had bought 500 pieces on top of a couple hundred more than 10 years ago. Helping out a fellow reloading enthusiast. 20211020_182439.jpg

I saw some 308 at Cabelas a couple of weeks ago. That was the first I’d seen since last Christmas I still haven’t seen what I normally shoot Federal Power Shock 150. I did find two boxes of Fusion in 150 so grabbed them

I've seen a bunch of .308 lately maybe because hunting season? A bunch of 7.62x51 147-150 grain too. A lot is way expensive. I'm not yet sure what the Aero upper is going to like they said best results in 168gr so starting there. This atomic nosler load wasn't crazy price unlike some smk and Berger loads running $40-$60 a box. I'll prob try and find some M80 ball just to plink with etc....

An Aero 308 is my goal project for next year. My primary hunting rifle is a Browning A Bolt 308. I had been told the 168 grain is what they like most but my bolt gun ended up really liking the 150’s. I’m holding off buying much until I get the other rifle built then try some different loads to see what it likes I guess. I wouldn’t expect a completely different platform to like the same loads but it sure would be handy if they did. I try to keep some commonality between guns with ammo. Maybe dumb but makes sense to me

Yeah I shoot 140gr only from my 6.5CM so very little zero shift at all between loads. I have it zeroed with my good stuff but if I switch to 140gr fmj cheap stuff very little difference in zero big difference in dope though.

I'd like to stay in same weight in the .308 too but that may prove to be cost prohibitive and may end up running some less expensive 147-150gr stuff and save the 168+ match quality for SHTF and precision work. I've heard good thing about the federal 150gr softpoints in the aero too so will try and check those out
