So what's the deal with a key pad and dial? Can either open the door independently?

So if your keypad battery fails or the pad itself fails you can always just use the dial, but have the convivence of the pad all the times? So the dial is basically just a back up now?
    Nice, wish I had that.

Yep! I still open it every so often by the dial just so I can remember how lol....My old key pad had one 9V battery this one has 2 and I installed lithium batteries when I installed it and one of the batteries is a back up.

I bought an OWB from them and was not impressed. Not the worst I have seen, but not useable at all. Maybe some MOLLE attachments to a flat surface and it would be great, but for on body, unwearable. Too many flaws to even discuss. That said, Their IWB one I got was decent. IMHO, their wait time and cost is not worth it.

I can see their drop holsters being well built though... Certain holster makers do certain types of holsters better than others, and some just suck all together. I got a holster from Slimfit Holsters and it was like the guy was shit faced drunk while designing it and black out drunk while putting it together. I was pretty pissed.

Best holsters I have seen though, made locally. A guy in Kalispell that owns Talon Retention. The website is not very well setup and he has a lot more local options on shelves, but the quality just works every time. Never an issue.

Took advantage of some Christmas gift cards and bass pro’s Boxing Day sale and bought a Savage MKii FV at our local store. Picked up a Simmons 8 point 3-9x40 and a set of high mount’s which I may end up swapping out to mid’s. My only complaints the stock because I’m 6’2” and it’s all around small for me but I like the heavy barrel and the price was right. I’ll probably end up just modifying the shitty stock to fit me instead of shelling out the coin for a Boyd’s.

It’s going to be mounted on a Safariland QLS/UBL mid-ride system. One of the reasons I went with Legacy is they’re one of the few companies besides Safariland making light-bearing holsters for Staccato, and I wanted something for range/classes that wasn’t locking. Normally use T.Rex but they aren’t making light-bearing for Staccato yet and Legacy came recommended from them so here we are. Hopefully it works out.
