My eBay ladder rail covers came in. 24 for $11...can't imagine they are any different from others in the market that are 4x more.

Yeah I kinda regret searching for that now. Cause I'll prob order some lol. Edit: decided against it no reviews online outside ammoseek and FB that has only been open for a month no reviews a couple odd posts. Street view doesn't show any signage on the building. Better safe than sorry

I got the powershok from Midway with my gas block order

As you know what i am buildng I will be interested to see how it works in your gun. I had considered building 6.5 but i like to keep common ammo so sticking with the 308 and can use it in multiple guns
The 150 powershock shot sub 1" groups at 200 yards with the rifle in a sled and has always worked beautifully for me. A different gun, who knows I guess we will see

Yeah I'll post up the different groups once it's running reliably and I can focus on shooting a group not if the rifle is feeding properly. I've got a handful of upper tier 168s one box of 175s, plus think I can get my hands on some 185 Berger juggernauts. A bunch of 147-150 to test on the lower end

So far I think the obvious is federal 168 gold metal match smks and the 175s seem to have potential at 1 moa or slightly better which is what I was hoping for out of the Aero with match grade factory ammo. If I can find a 147-150 to stay around 2moa or better and be cheaper to shoot I'll be happy.

Also once the Aero is running reliably then I can drop the Tikka off for cerakote. Right now leaning Atacs AU pattern or something similar. Not solid FDE but a good AZ camo

If you don't draw blood, you're doing it wrong!
Ordered a Monte Carlo stock for my 930SPX. Love that shotgun, but the standard stock (non pistol grip) sits so low it's nearly impossible to get a good cheekweld.

I tend to be pretty hard on my rifles as I use them as tools for hunting. I would never have gone looking for a rifle like my bolt 308 as it’s a classic wooden stock and looks beautiful so I’m constantly worried about scratches. I would much have preferred a composite stock which I guess I could get for it maybe something to look at. I found the rifle with only 5 shots put through it for such a good deal I just couldn’t pass it up and it had become my favorite rifle

I like the 155gr AMAX for anything light. They also make a 110gr that would probably make a mess.

Hornady Superformance 150gr SST is my favorite. Will penetrate and then just BOOM inside. DRT.
Only deer I was able to bag this year, he was head down looking away from me, pickin at some corn, I put a pill right inside his jaw, through the tongue and hard palette, and out the left eye. He looked like that video of the deer that was being culled in New Zealand that came out a few years ago, eyes bugged out.
