I cant buy Ammo in CA.

My address is in Julian and my CA real ID has Julian PO Box as my address,
I can't buy ammo if I live in a PO box Ive been told.

 

Going with a carbon manners stock, trying to keep the weight low on this build.

Hard part is finding a lefty rem700 short action but I have some time.

 

A utility bill with your name and address should solve that

I know,unfortunately I dont have that. Thats my parents address,I get all my mail sent there and my DMV stuff so I dont have to deal with CA Smog crap.
And the place im renting from I am un able to use the adress for mail.

Im ok with it for now, Im plenty loaded on everything else

.308 will always have a place with me but the reason is I try not to add more calibers than I need to keep logistics simple and 6.5 just didnt fill a spot till now.

 

Yeah that makes sense. I pretty much done that with handguns. That’s not going to happen with me for rifles.

I could honestly do it with .308 but my .308 is a 15lb rifle and if I'm going to build a rifle for a specific purpose I might as well pick a flatter shooting round for hunting.
