Quiet sneaky fun

 

I like it when you can hear the bullet smack a fence post! I need to sight it in better, it was raining when we left this morning so I just took the rifle and a box of shells, no targets. I finally got one shot in a fence post and used it to get it close to zero.

 

I believe I may start down the quiet road later this year. I got get past this last wedding in a couple of weeks and once I recover I can play some more

 

This one was unexpected. I told the guy I’d come back, but then the wife said “I have the check book with me.” I was looking at some local made suppressors, no finish, for $100. But then tried the Warlock and heard the difference. I wanted to do some more research on them, but when she said that, I went for it!

Sportsman’s had 9mm…18.99/50…cringe. Trip to Walmart finally paid off though. 22 plinking ammo was half the price as Sportsman’s @ 21.98/325…

 

I’ve been stocking up on that Walmart federal 22 for awhile. It’s alittle disappointing with more fail to fires than I expected. I can rarely get through a 25 round mag on my 10/22 without 1 or 2 duds. I’ll even retry them in a second gun and they still FTF so it’s definitely the ammo not the gun.

good thing I’m sitting on like 6k rounds of it… on the bright side it’s cheap! (Well cheap for the times)

 

Ordered an Overwatch trigger for my P10 and they sent me a red trigger dingus. Feels bad.

Yeah I’m pumped, they already got an rma going for me. If it was any other color mistake I would have kept it, reds a no go though haha.

 

Anyone familiar with the stoeger m3000 shotgun. Just got one and I have a question about the loading ramp

 

Good to know. I bought a couple thousand rounds of this in the older packaging the last time ammo was scarce and it performed okay in my 10/22, Mk IV Competition… Maybe the quality control on the newer stuff has suffered…worst case scenario I’ve got some single shot ROSSI’s that we use for squirrels and grouse that I will use it in.

 

Nice good CS at least. Yeah red is pretty pleb lol. I went all black on mine.
