My CMP 1911 showed up this week. Service grade. Colt (1943) frame, slide looks like some weird generic thing. Would rather have a known brand slide, but I guess with the CMP you never know what you're going to get.

I could be wrong but if I'm remembering I think those 'generic' looking slides with just numbers on them are replacements the Gov got from IMI in the 80's

Picked up one of these Larue MBT-2S triggers and boy oh boy is it nice, especially for $100! I like the free pocket constitution they sent as well.

Picked up a secondhand POF P415 Gen 3 with Holosun 510C and magnifier.

P.S. if anybody has any experience with these, or similar gas piston systems, I have a couple questions. I'm new to piston ARs so I might just be stupid lol 20220526_200621.jpg

That's mostly what I get now for AR triggers. I like both the LaRue and Geissele triggers, but the LaRue is a value standout.

Lol been a while since I ordered anything from LaRue. Forgot how much swag they send with their orders. I’ve still got several canisters of their “Dillo Dust” that I never opened.

If you haven't ever used it, I would recommend it. It's a fantastic rub/seasoning.

Went deep down the ARCA rabbithole after resisting for several years. For competition, its such a good and versatile system vs my previous method of achieving average results by fighting reality.

    Area 419 12" and 14" kits
    MLOK hardware
    Grey Ops flat plate
Armageddon Gear Flat bag and GC Brassier
then an Armageddon Gear fat bag to round out the portfolio.

Speaking of Larue... If anyone has a dillo laying around, I'd gladly take it off your hands. Mine was sadly stolen years ago.

Hopefully not sounding too ignorant...and REALLY not wanting to see what Google returns on a dillo search ...

    What's a dillo?

    Exactly what it sounds like!

Its a multifunction QD lever pry tool, .45 disassembler, and bottle entry device
