JM stamped NIB Marlin 44mag chewy goodness, got to hand select the best wood. Not inexpensive but not too bad

 

I had too many weapons that would not fit in my existing safes, so I bought a couple of SecureIt Agile 40s.

 

I like SecureIt. Probably gonna use their wall paneling to build my gun closet when we move into our new house next year.

 

I have two other safes which I'm going to retrofit their storage system into.

Was in my LGS they had Federal match small rifle primers for $165 per 1k. WTF

Picked up 2 bricks of these couple of weeks ago. Insane what primers are selling for, but if I want to reload you pay the price. I think they were about $125 per 1k. Outdoor Limited , which I found out is just a 40 minute drive from my house. Drove up on a Sunday, and looked around their "Showroom". They had quite a few primers in stock then, and a huge supply of ammo. But the prices these days is just mind blowing. I'm hoping they get some LPP in stock and more SPP by next payday. As the old saying goes, Better to have and not need, than to need and not have.

Got the Cloud Defensive LCS in today and took advantage of Swampfox’s big annual sale and ordered an optic and mount

 

Went back to the LGS and bought the last two boxes of 45-70 and some IMI m80 ball to test/break in the new 308 barrel

 

Got this old school LMT (not LMT Defense) stripped defender 2000 lower for $100 bc it was painted. What's the best way to remove paint?

Just paint over it imo. Nothing wrong with having a few layers of paint, and when it wears off it looks really cool.

You can try Talstrip if it’s hard oat anodized underneath idk if the stripper will damage it or not.

 

Brake fluid will take it off...but i dont know what the brake fluid will do to the aluminum if anything

 

I used Citristrip on an AL bike frame that was painted from the factory. It took a few tries since the paint was baked on. Yours will probably come off easier. Didn't ruin the finish unlike blasting. Just make sure as soon as you see paint lifting you ready to clean it off.
