I didn't like primer prices a few shortages ago either! I thought only a lunatic would pay $30.... And who on earth would ever by primers by the hundred?!?

Loading large batches became difficult when eastern block primer availability faded away. Wideners and powder valley used to have frequent free hazmat/shipping deals on large quantities of Wolf/Tula primers when they were $15-16 per thou. I ordered 20k at a time more than once. Today, that same 20k order $$ will only get me 25% of what it did.

Buy what you can, when you can. It will never get cheaper than it is today.

I'm hoping to get it first week of September bases on how things are going. That would be about 170 days. The shit part is I've actually been waiting since November. Purchased on black Friday but didn't certify until March 24th. Had to wait for them to build/form 3 and when it arrived in February I accidentally grabbed a hot pan and my fingerprints were wonky on one hand lol. Had to wait for them to peel after they blistered. Ouch.

Yeah, otherwise I would have certified about middle of February. Also once I did the kiosk, the LGS didn't actually file my stamp for two weeks. I called and spoke with the owner by chance (it was him who picked up) to ask why no signature paperwork after two weeks. He checked and never filed. Had it the next day.

Anyway I'll be glad to have it whenever it clears.

PSAK extended bold hold open safety- I have found that these are the easiest safeties to use on an AK, smooth action and great for competitions. There's also one without the BHO, and just as good.

The gun or my waist?? JK

Fit is really good and snug. It's my winter carry setup. I'll admit that I don't draw/practice nearly enough with this setup as I do with IWB, so wear is minimal on the holster. I can invert it and shake it some and the gun won't fall out.

Sweet! One of the most important drills you can practice, is drawing from concealed and quickly/accurately putting multiple rounds on target.

I’m sure it will be primarily a cold weather holster for me as well.
