What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

Picked up another Apex trigger for my M&P 2.0 to replace the hinge trigger. Full size one has the poly flat face trigger with the purple spring installed and the compact has the Apex duty kit.

 

100% change out for gel pads. Night and day difference.

 

i have a SLR-106FR that I was shooting at 300 yards with irons. About 6-7” groups. Canted front sight but still able to be zero’ed.

overall a nice AK except for the sensitive paint.

 

Exact same experience with my WASR-10. 300+ yards, 6"+ groups with slightly canted front sights, shooting TulAmmo. Added an ALG trigger, spring and some XS AK sights which make a nice difference.

My cheapass WASR with a TapCo trigger shoots great.

But if I gotta shoot targets with a com-bloc gun, I like my SKS. Works on pigs too.

 

Norinco Mak90 shoots great but it was a AWB rifle that came with thumbhole stock and non threaded muzzle. Sites are straight AF.

Century Yugo M70 has canted front site and it works but it bothers me. Why can't people get the front site straight? Is it that hard?

 

Slightly canted is the song of the AK lol. I plan to run optics but may just stick to irons depending how my next run and gun goes. Not planning to shoot over 200yds but nice to know you guys are having similar experiences.

Cause it's an ak. If it shoots straight and the front post is relatively centered don't worry. You want straight and perfect that is not the platform.

 

I run one of Arsenal’s early AK’s. Put an adjustable stock on it and XS sights. A very reliable and durable shooter which makes it a great truck gun .

 

I like that the AK is not perfect, rough around the edges, canted, off center, pisses off the right people, makes friends with people under stressful situations..

 

Last day to get 20% Academy site wide, course no ammo or firearms. But i was able to get an hs510c new, cheaper then i could find used anywhere. Oh, and Academy card gets ya another 5% off.

 

This seems like a good deal to, over on PSA's daily deals. Bit nicer then what i need.
