I like PSA. It's amazing how much gun they provide for the cost point. And USA assembled.

Why are folks bashing the guy that got 3 boxes of .22LR so hard in the what did you buy thread? Who cares? We all buy what we can when we can. Whether that be dictated by availability, budget, or whatever other factor.

Actually just started buying 22lr again last year. I bought cheap back in 2016-18 and just reloaded a ton of 556 and 308 during the pandemic because I had boat loads of powder and projectiles and love to shoot.

I’ve loaded and given away 10,000s of rounds away to fellow officers who like to train or take their kids hunting and shooting. I train because it’s required, plus I like it.

People can hate all they want. Every time we have a shortage I’m steady shooting 4-5 days a week with plenty of ammo and components to reload and enjoy my hobbies.

People complain about shortages but when times are good forgot to stack deep. Remember 2015-2018 salad days? 1600 rounds of 22lr Black Friday deals were 40 bucks for the federal black max. I bought 25 cases online, 40k rounds for under 1000 bucks shipped to the house.

You could get brass 556 for .14-20 cents a round all day long. People can complain all they want. Proper planning goes a looooong way if you wanna enjoy shooting sports.

Buy it in bulk online and don’t stress over store shelve stock levels.

You sound like one of those guys who doesn't bother to stock up when ammo is plentiful and get caught short when the supply dries. History shows that shortages occur every so often. I buy when it's available and amass a stockpile to get me through the lean times. It's worked for me over the years. I'm not one of those guys who hope to find a box or two on the shelf when I walk into the store.

Yep, everytime I think I’m starting to do good I build another rifle and it puts me further behind. Shooting them doesn’t help either but screw it. I’ll get there eventually

I believe that’s one of those questions like how big of a tire can I fit without a lift.
Enough is not running out when it’s needed

Is there even an ammo shortage anymore? I can find ammo everywhere I go and online you can get pretty much any caliber you can think of. If you’re not using online to buy ammo now then that’s on you. The 2nd amendment is under attack like we have never seen before and I’m going to continue to keep stock pilling and not worrying about others!

I miss those days. For some reason i was stocking up on 7.62x54r for my Mosins and .357 mag and neglected the rest. :annoyed:. Was having too much fun with the big boom sticks, haha.

Wish i would have been getting some .410. Now my oldest has an over under that shoots it and its the only thing i have issue finding, somewhat, plus the .410 premium you pay hurts, lol.
