yeah the roster hasn’t added any new models since it was created in like 1999. The California market is the only reason Glock still makes gen 3s - it’s on the roster and their newer models aren’t.

technically new guns can be added to the roster but it is a requirement to have micro stamping on the firing pin that stamps the S/N into shell casings. The technology is unproven, potentially impossible, and has never been done other than in some lab experiments where even the inventors were doubtful it would hold up over thousands of rounds so gun companies aren’t willing to invest the R&D dollars to invent it just for the California market. Instead cali just doesn’t get new models and is stuck in 1999.

Just ordered a Meprolight MicroRDS kit for my Glock 31C.
It is an interesting set up in that the tritium rear sight fits in dovetail and has a forward facing mount that is quick detachable should you need to remove the RDS (failure). The kit includes a tritium front sight as well. Battery is a top loader so no need to dismount sight. It is a 3 MOA, red color with 10 brightness settings. 10 year warranty. Great price at Sportsman’s Warehouse website at $299. Ordered this afternoon and already shipped. Will post photos once installed.

So technically if the technology is impractical or non existent, then new guns CAN’T be added to the list. Sounds all like circular logic.

We can just skip to the part where we all agree new guns aren’t added to the list, yet the list of approved guns gets smaller in a blatant unconstitutional state law.

Who btw was signed into law by Arnold, just to be specific.

As a matter of fact I heard rumors that the roster is on its way to be overturned, and none of this actually goes into the reality of whole remove 3 guns for every one gun added rule that got signed in a year or two ago.

You basically have to pass the bar to be a “responsible” California gun owner.

Yeah, the Miller v. Bruen case is having all kinds of effects across the country. A lot of really important cases that were in the works were waiting on its ruling. Of course states like California, New York, Hawaii, etc. are already pulling all the stops to ignore it and stall out the inevitable, but it seems like many of these radical gun laws might finally stand a good chance of being struck down. The real question is how those states will proceed afterword. They seem pretty intent on ignoring the ruling, and are just coming up with whatever petty legislation to punish gun owners they can think of now, like trying to declare every public place a "sensitive area" so no one can CCW.

I am aware of what NAA recommends. I was only suggesting you test and try for yourself. For me getting a holster with a thumb break satisfied that concern I had with the fact that the cylinder is not locked in place on a safety notch. The notch is the only thing keeping the cylinder from rotating between rounds. It looks like your holster covers the hammer and that is a pretty good way to insure it cannot get snagged back a little and end up locking on a live round.

Hey, my suggestion is only for your awareness and safety, it is not any sort of judgement. That little thing can be carried when nothing else can. I have a indigo wood grip on mine making it even less noticeable.

Well piss, I couldn’t convince myself that version 1 was acceptable so I redid it with a new, thicker pattern. I wanted it shorter by a few inches overall, and wider to make it more comfortable with the weight of the rifle. There was also a doubled up oops in the Ver.1 sling that I knew was there and bugged me. For all those reasons I am thrilled with the fit of version 2 sling. Looks way better too since you can actually see both colors now and not just the patterned one. Worth the effort to redo.

2000 rounds of 9mm for $.25 a round, delivered! New brass.
    2500 rounds of 22LR HV
5000 rounds of 22LR cheap stuff

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post sites here (mods delete if it's a rule breaker) - ZincPoint - if you spend over $399 they give free shipping and the customer support is very good. Ammo reviews seem good also.

Thanks man. I just followed a YouTube tutorial because I’m no paracord wizard. In case anyone else wants to give it a go here is the link.

Nice parachord work! I tried it for the first time using a Youtube video instruction on the lever action for my Levtac 92. I came out looking like I took a shot of JD at every loop! WTH, it's ok for now and all my shooting buddies know I am a marginal drunk anyway!
