Our outdoor range has a dedicated “pistol pit”, with steel targets.


There is also a rifle range, (not shown in photo), with benches at the firing line. Pistols can be shot there as well. You can set target stands as close as 21'.

I get tighter groups at the outdoor range.

 

Had to sell one of my kidneys in order to buy this guy in Cali but it was totally worth it

This is the first time I have seen it in months now....

 

1,305 copper plated .22lr rounds. Because here in California, we can’t use lead tips at indoor ranges.

 

Did you get the feeding problem figured out? I had similar problems with my 10/22 jam-o-matic until I modified my BX 25 mags. Now she runs like a top.

 

Nope Ive been piddling with other projects and hunting. Well when I’m not working which has been a lot but grape harvest is finally over!

 

Well, here's what worked for me.
I took my BX25 mags apart and cleaned them really well. Now refer to the pics:

I took an empty .22 case and filed it down so it would fit flush with the red follower (not sure if that's what it's called). Did this to every magazine and haven't had a jam since. I can't take credit for this idea. Read about it in a gun forum somewhere. Worth a shot. Good luck.

There is a missing S&W CO2 pistol that I'm sorely disappointed that I can't find. Also there are about 5 remaining long guns that I'm trying to decide whether to keep or sell.

I held one of the new ones about a month ago, it was really hard to put back on the counter. I think I peed a little....it was close.
