Does anyone wear ankle holsters any longer for backup options??

 

Depending on where I go, I sometimes have my LCR 357 on my ankle.

 

Low threat, I ankle carry an LCR 357, whenever I leave the house. Elevated threat, I carry a appendix carry a P320, with an airweight or lcr on my ankle.

 

Just received and installed a Tritium with orange circle front sight on my EDC X9S.

Eventually going to change the slide to a spectre comp slide in FDE to complete mod 3.0

Started as an all black 365
Mod 2.0 was fde with 365x slide and romeo zero red dot. Once I get the spectre slide I'll sell the x slide and romeo zero

 

The 365 lineup has come a long way in a relatively short amount of time. I have a standard and an xl. Like them both.

Bought a little Taurus TX22 since it was so cheap on Black Friday at PSA. Picked it up yesterday. Will be a fun little gun to shoot and cheaper than blowing thru my stockpile of 9mm, etc. Really digging the bronze finish.

 

If it's aluminum, you could get away with part of the rust bluing or even parkerizing process using that, provided the parts were small enough. I got a stainless pan about that size from a second-hand store for that purpose.

 

I'll be surprised if you don't like it! The full purchase of the grip gives it a much bigger gun feel. Great plinker as well as trainer, and eats most anything!

 

It seems to get great reviews and does have a good feel. Plan to feed it next weekend. Also want to FINALLY teach the wife how to shoot so figured this would be great for her.

 

A .22 is a great firearm to teach someone how to shoot. I use one of several whenever I teach.

 

We have three between my (adult) sons & I. They always get tossed in the bag whenever we make a trip to the range! As .22 pistols go, it's very near the accuracy of my Buckmark and my early 80s single six. Light, & goes bang sixteen times in a row!

 

I definitely like the 16 in a row!
